I can’t believe it’s been nearly two months since my last post. That was never my intention.
I don’t like to blog when I don’t have photo evidence to back up what I say and when I’m working on projects of a secretive nature and have no photos, well, blogging probably isn’t going to happen. (Also, I’m lazy, but really, truly it’s been awhile since I’ve had something I can take a picture of!!)
I got back from Rhinebeck this past Sunday, and had the most amazing time. I didn’t think I was going to get to go again this year but then had the opportunity to do so after all. Yay! I was really lame about taking pictures, though, and only got one. (See below.) One of my dear friends –who also happened to be a housemate– was a much better photojournalist than I and captured the trip well. Please visit Chesley over at The Knitting Experience blog to see more!!
Until then, here’s my one photo. A picture of pure heaven:

Deep fried artichokes, cheddar cheese, olive oil, pita bread crust. What more could you want??? Mmmmmm….
In other news, while I’ve been working on things I can’t talk about, I have some finished items I can. Two that I completed yesterday, actually. The Wavelet Hat done in double-stranded, leftover Dream in Color Classy from my first Clapotis. I’m not yet able to provide a nicely modeled photo of the hat, so here’s a closeup of the pattern in the meantime:

And the second being a dress for one of the Munchkin’s Barbie Dolls called Strapless Evening Gown:

Soon, I’ll have some more project photos for you. Until then though, here’s my Rhinebeck haul:
Briar Rose Fibers Cormo in lovely Rose/Green and Blue colors:
